Review on 🎨 Soho Urban Artist Pochade Box for Plein Air Painting Easel with Storage, Lightweight & Portable, Enhanced Mahogany Finish by Sasha Hsiao

When I first saw this easel I thought it would be a great compact easel and easier to carry than my French easel. I think I had a brain spasm just thinking about it. WHAT IS IT FOR? It's a pretty small box. Features a flap valve for brush and water or thinner. It also has a retractable wooden and acrylic palette. There will be some colors in the middle, but not huge tubes and not much. HANDLE There is a carry handle which is a strap and is not too strong. BELOW ALLOWS USE OF DESK with table top. It's not set up so well for me. It's ok, but not as easy to adjust as my other desk easel. USE WITH A TRIPOD, WHAT DO I THINK? It's really a stupid idea. If you're desperate, a camera geek with a really good tripod that can hold at least 30 pounds, then this might work for a while. To be honest, I don't think that's a very good idea. My good easel can hold 33 pounds, but it's still not as strong as I'd like it to be. I really feel that this easel puts a lot of strain on the tripod ball, and I just don't like using it. STRENGTH The strength factor didn't suit me. I just don't trust this easel at all with oils and even watercolors to be honest. If I use it on a table, yes. On a tripod, no. CONCLUSION I don't like the placement of this easel. It's uncomfortable, doesn't hold many items, and is inconvenient to mount on a tripod. It doesn't feel stable enough after being placed on a tripod. It's just impractical for me on the table. MY RATING IS TWO STARS. I don't like this easel.
