Successfully plays 4k at 60Hz via USB 3.0

The graphics chip in my laptop is having trouble handling 4k at 30Hz so I decided to try this even though my USB ports are 3.0 and not 3.1 are given in the specifications. has to drive 4k@60Hz but to my delight this device handles 4k@60Hz over USB 3.0 with no issues. Of course, I don't play or run graphics-intensive apps, but it works great for boring business apps. Very happy.
