I bought two of these. (I have an actual vintage speakerphone from the 1970's. It still works but my hearing has deteriorated and I can no longer hear the phone ringing when someone calls. I brought it into the room with my computer.) in the living room and my bedroom. I don't wear my hearing aids to bed so I needed a loud phone call. Now I can hear my phone when I'm sleeping and I can answer the call when I lie down. I don't need the photo function. I turn the picture over and write the person's name and number on the back. That way, in the event of an emergency, the paramedics can write down all the information they need without having to go through my address book for the person to call.
