InRide Sensor 3 pairing and other app-related issues

As of June 17, 2019, this treadmill has had mixed feelings. Setup is generally quick and intuitive. I have a Felt AR-5 and I do NOT need a thru axle as it was already provided by Kinetic. Kinetic InRide Sensor 3 turned on and installed was causing problems. It is read into the Kinetic mobile app and calibrated, but when it was plugged into the Zwift mobile app and calibrated, my racer avatar fell far short of the other racers. Another issue I've found is that if you try to connect an InRide sensor to your Zwift laptop via Bluetooth, the trainer shuts down while pedaling. NOT sure if it's a laptop issue, but the only way to reset InRide is to remove and reinsert the battery. I can then use it again with Kinetic if needed. Also, as a new driver, be aware of any apps you are currently using. Currently my Garmin Forerunner 235 does NOT send my heart rate information to the Zwift or Kinetic apps. The same applies to performance, distance and speed data from Zwift or Kinetic to Garmin Connect. The only way I've found to do this is to manually upload and download data from trips to the appropriate apps. Tracking your results takes a long time. Unless anyone can tell otherwise, it looks like I'll invest in more sensors and/or more time and money. **UPDATE** As of 08/16/19, 252 km, this unit is reliable and working properly. The phone app can be a bit finicky when it comes to calibrating. Just make sure your sensor isn't paired with anything else and you can calibrate it, then disable the app and pair it with Zwift or whatever you're using. Also, my Garmin Forerunner watch is paired to Zwift for heart rate. It just has to be in the activity settings. Recommendations: - Buy a pair of batteries for your InRide sensor as the previously installed battery will die shortly after the first use. - Buy an ANT+ cable for your laptop. This makes pairing with devices much easier.
