The rattle in this toy is a small plastic ball the size of a grape. The small ball is not sealed inside the toy, but can be easily removed through a hole in the bottom of the toy. Baby chew toys pose a serious choking hazard!?! This teething toy violates US Consumer Product Safety Committee regulations. I will report this to the CPSU. Search for US CPSC thrush toys in your browser, there is a link to report toys breaking the rules. I'm always very suspicious of items like this that have thousands of great reviews. Even without a choking hazard, this teether isn't that good.
