Mixed feelings about it. For a month, when we tried to tie another leash to a tree, our husky yanked at it. We've had it about a month now and it doesn't even show any signs of wear - except for a little rusting (or maybe just roughness due to loss of coating?) on the tab that attaches to the dog's collar. But the section around the tree does not remain securely closed. It's a screw system that seems to loosen every few days. I try to check and tighten it regularly, but we've already seen our dog walking around the neighborhood 3 times with a long cord still attached to it. I'm glad it didn't break. I don't have any better solutions. But I'll probably keep looking. ADDITIONAL INFO: It eventually broke. I can't remember now how long it took. Probably 4-6 months. More than most.
