Pretty decent set for the price but no more than 450

I liked the price of the set. The two smaller Hot Pads are perfect for microwavable meals and small pots and I use them every day. Oven mitts are great in many ways as they cover the wrist to prevent burns getting in and out of the oven and if you've burned your upper forearm you'll know. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that they lose some heat resistance when wet and you have to be a little careful when taking something heavy like a casserole or saucepan out of a very hot oven. . Dutch Oven etc. When dry they are near perfect and meet about 98% of my needs.
