I bought this confident in my craft skills. This part is ONLY the digitizer screen, so just a glass screen. It does not include the plastic frame. Decided to fit this in as it seems like some buyers will buy this thinking it's all screen and bezel and then cry. To replace it, you need to disassemble the tablet and use a hair dryer, hair dryer or dry ice. method (google). It's not something you want to do in a hurry. When freezing, take time to heat up and slowly run the blade around the edges of the screen to cut through the adhesive and use a phone lifting tool or similar tool to slowly pry the screen off the frame. Most sources recommend heating the area between 100 and 120 degrees Celsius, so keep your heat gun moving. Don't leave it in one place for too long or you risk deforming the frame. After removing all four corners, use another blade to gently scrape away the remaining glue, then wipe with alcohol or acetone. You can go all out and use a little Goo Gone. Peel off the plastic backing tape from the inside and carefully align the corners. Don't press on it, you just need to make sure all sides line up. Turn the screen over, place it on a flat surface and gently press the edges of the frame. (My stupid bum did this while holding the frame in his hands and broke it on one of the edges. The screen works fine, the cracks are not visible, but it woke me up from my inattention. Once done. Assemble, turn it on.. and I hope it was your digitizer that went bad and you can enjoy your tablet again.UPDATE 7/14/21 So I've found that the touch sensitivity on this screen might be too sensitive or a little off the corner I need to click a little deeper than before, otherwise it won't be recognized Also, when I have multiple browser tabs open, it's a bit less accurate Before, I could just click pretty close to the X to close a tab, and not more often than not open a new one I have a touchscreen Performed calibration and that seems to have helped!
