The stand weighs about 2 pounds, which isn't bad, but it's not the lightest either. I think that's understandable as it needs to be strong enough to support the weight of both the device and my hands. The setup was very easy and almost self-explanatory. The stand wobbles a bit when closed, giving it a cheap look; That's the only downside I can clearly see. However, it is very durable. My laptop's screen size is 15.6 inches, but the stand supports it perfectly. All in all a great buy at a reasonable price!
