This was ordered to fit some IKEA rectory/dining chairs. The seating position is so deliberately loose and edgy that it easily fits onto a chair and leaves room. This is quite a challenge for an IKEA chair, even IKEA covers are difficult to put on and take off. In that respect I was very satisfied. It really is 100% cotton. However, they resemble muslin more than cotton duck. I have many cases from different brands. Surefit has the Waverly line, which is a heavy but textured linen weft. There are also some Surefit napkins that are made from very, very heavyweight duck cotton. Like canvas or skinny jeans. Ikea covers are also made of very dense cotton. This one, which sells for $17, is not one of them. Personally, though, I really liked them. They tend to be transparent. They look very organic, with little splashes here and there and casually draped. Type of box and barrel. You wash well. You can't beat the price and I'm happy with the purchase. I would order again. They were well packaged and arrived quickly.
