Review on Dress Up America Deluxe Costume by Jack Ford

Update: I just bought a second edition (the same one) because my little friend loved it so much for almost a year that it fell apart in several places (totally expected since he bought it wore all the time, even to the park and sometimes even slept in it!). It is very well made and durable and the upper really looks like a real uniform! We bought a police cap that he sometimes wears instead of another one and people stop us all the time to take pictures or to ask where they can get one. He is 4-1/2 now and still loves wearing this suit as well as the fireman suit. This will make an AMAZING gift for any little boy or girl especially if they are interested in Lego City as the police are a big part of Lego City. sweet story When I told him that I had ordered a new one to replace the old one, he was so excited that on the expected day of arrival he checked the door at every noise. He was supposed to arrive sometime before 8pm so he was kind enough to ask if the postman was hurt and hoped he was ok when 8pm was over. He went upstairs to bed and at around 8:30 the doorbell rang. yeah! The courier was fine and my little one got his new police uniform. 😀Original post: LOVE LOVE LOVE this costume and my 3 year old wants to wear it everywhere. I forget he's wearing it because he wears it so often, but I'm quickly reminded when I get so many smiles and comments and so many people asking where to find it to order. All children love it and want to try it on and play with it. I seriously look (and feel) like a high-end suit that costs a lot more than it cost and also washes and dries well (no special care, just constant ironing/cold washing, like I do pretty much everything else wash, so it is added wash again). ). People never believe me when I tell them how cheap it was. The strap was probably long enough to wrap 3-4 times, but I just cut it to fit. It's just faux leather, but it really completes the look because it makes the shirt more snug so he can hang his handcuffs on there. There are holes along the full length of the belt for ease of cutting. doesn't matter!
