If you have kids, buy a padlock or not! The lid hinge broke in less than 24 hours. Pretty annoying as it's not "cheap". Injured hand reassembling - whatever. I think it's pretty weatherproof but I'm sure dust will get in. It's bigger than I expected and I figured I could use it as a footstool outside; it is more like a low table. I bought this to put baby toys in so my dogs will stop eating baby toys while still being adorable. Guilty. Not something small children can interact with.
