Review on TCMT ABS Windshield Quarter Fairing Kit Fits For Sportster XL 88-16 Dyna 95-05 FXR 86-94 (Smoke) by Raymond Doe

Installed on my 96 fxds. Used factory HD windshield mounts after some tweaking and they worked flawlessly. Very solid part for the price. My only criticism would be not wrapping the windshield and headlight lens in plastic and then mounting them to the fairing. It's fine, but removing the plastic is cumbersome. Also from other reviews I saw how to tighten the bolts until the windshield breaks. Well they have rubber washers on them, all you have to do when re-tightening them is tighten just enough to compress the rubber a bit and you're good to go. I checked the tight fit after a few rides and nothing came loose. Definitely worth buying if you don't want to buy an HD fairing and want the exact same look.
