I bought this during a sale to replace my manual handle spiralizer and found it a waste of money. I've found it works best as an apple peeler to make a large batch of apple pie or apple chips. But for zucchini, it only accepts small-diameter courgettes and squashes you can find at the grocery store, and if you're growing larger ones, like most growers, you'll need to quarter them first. Then, worst of all, I've had very little success getting the fresh zucchini into a never-ending spiral that twists inside the zucchini, stripping everything and just absolutely mashing everything. It just can't handle fresh, juicy, bland veggies. If you're cooking a lot of apples and potatoes, that's fine, otherwise use the hand crank for fresh vegetables like zucchini. The manual ones can handle larger diameter vegetables and you can quickly adjust them to make sure they coil up well. I paid for this product and did not receive any compensation for this review.
