This isn't the first mop I've had but it's great to have on hand anywhere in our home that's all tile and bamboo flooring consists. With a spray bottle, you don't need to scoop up water if you don't wipe the water off at all. Just keep a spray bottle filled, spritz a little on the floor after you've swept up the trash, and you're ready to wipe up sticky messes. Our fridge had a leak for a while and by holding a mop next to the fridge we were able to clean up the leak immediately. Sure we've never had a cleaner floor, but now the leak is fixed and the mop can work anywhere. It is particularly practical that there are several supports for the mop. If you have a real mess or a fairly large floor, one is never enough, although they do clean up nicely in the car.
