I bought this slicer mainly for making apple chips with cinnamon. Last Christmas I tasted a beautifully designed sample of Minnesota wine. They were expensive but I was hooked and had to figure out how to make them myself. After experimenting in the kitchen with different ways of slicing, drying, roasting, toppings and different apples, I realized that one of the most important steps is to cut the apples to the exact thickness you want. I've been shopping online very carefully for a few months now. I finally ordered the Müller VPro from amazon.com. The thing is easily adjusted to the desired thickness and cuts perfectly. I cut up a whole apple without even bothering with the core. Being able to recreate delicious apple chips from a small shop at any time with an appropriate resemblance gives me great pleasure. This slicer was critical to all of this. Thank you for making a great product!
