Poor quality good for contact lens care

It looks impressive at first glance, but after a few days the poor quality showed in several places. It started when the magnetic charging cable let small magnets fall out of the connector. I was able to put them back in, but they were very loose. The cable only works in one position, so not only do these magnets need to be attached, but the polarity needs to be correct. Okay, no problem, there's nothing a little crazy glue can fix. But after two days of use, I noticed rust spots appearing all over the chamber. I use the Bausch & Lomb Bio True solution and don't know if this could be part of the problem, but none of the other devices I've ever suffered from this issue with. I have to clean it daily and dry it completely after use. You can't just let it air dry. But the fact that rust formed during use was very worrying. Finally, the included tweezers and lens holder look like great little things, but they're utterly useless. I loved that I could touch the lens to avoid fingerprints and oil from my hands, but the tweezers don't grip the lens at all when wet. If the lens is dry, the tweezers will not release the lens. On the lens mount tools, the small suction cup falls off too easily. As I mentioned earlier, these tools are useless. The question is whether this device is bad or I just got a lemon. Having found deficiencies in many areas, I don't think this is a one-off issue, but most likely a poorly designed product.

Pros
  • Washing and care combination
Cons
  • Poor instructions
