The perfect little teapot!
The whistle looks more like a harmonica but I can hear it from above - it definitely works. You need to fill it enough to cover the inner holes for the spout and make sure the lid is fully snapped on. Pretty basic, but it would probably help if the manufacturer included this tip in the box. You have to add more water than you need for a cup, but it was the smallest whistle I could find and looks great on the stovetop. (Durability is only 4 stars because I literally just got it, but it seems well built.) Another note: I've rarely lifted anything hot onto the stove without a handle to check, or with a hot pad, so.
