Great therapeutic tool but a few tips to improve it

I love this toy! I work with Early Childhood SLP and have been using it for a few days to encourage expressive speech in both my granddaughter and ECSE students during speech therapy. The lids are a bit tight and I like to encourage kids to get help if they can't open or close the lid. It is easy for children to identify and name objects. I plan to use this as a reward system for children during speech/language therapy, hiding small objects for children to work on specific sounds during speech therapy, working with children on vocabulary development, working with simple spatial concepts, and turning words into sentences can and suggestions. It would be great if they sold a larger run of miniature items but I will most likely find something to use elsewhere. It would also be nice if they came in a storage box. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the weird colors they used. Toddlers/preschoolers would be much more helpful if they were in the standard colors of red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, pink, brown, black, white, and gray. It would also be nice if the items that came in the box had something that matched the number on that box. This is great for practicing preschool skills such as B. matching color of lids to boxes, number recognition, mutual matching, subitization, etc. Bilateral manual skills are used when children hold a box in one hand and remove and put on the lid with the other hand. Overall, I highly recommend this toy for kids who don't put things in their mouths. Children should probably be supervised when using as small objects pose a choking hazard.
