Review on 🧶 ChiaoGoo 40 inch (102cm) Wooden Circular Knitting Needle in US Size 17 (12.75mm), Model 2040-17 by Carol Miller

First let me tell you that I am a delivery man and know the light weight in ounces. I weighed these needles individually and one of them is 0.71 ounces and the other is 1.37 ounces so... tell me. There are 2 different colors. One definitely looks like wood, the other looks like bamboo. You can clearly see the lighter color and weight in the picture, one of which is cored like bamboo. Aside from that, the tubing that connects them is...it's just the tubing I had for the air pump in my fish tank. It bends. It came deformed, I carefully stood by the sink, held the pins over the water for about 10 minutes, just wetting the tube (I don't want to wet wood or bamboo) and gently pinched it in the opposite direction with clothespins while they cool, I hope this will eliminate the kinks. In the first picture you can see that it didn't work. I have other ChiaoGoo needles, or a full set of replacement tips, and I really like them. I'm not happy with it at all. I'm rather disappointed with the quality. I love that they're lightweight, but the "cable" is nothing like the gorgeous red needles in my kit, or any of the other solid needles I have for socks. :( If the dollar store sold circular knitting needles I would expect wood and bamboo to not match plastic tubing. Kinks don't come out, if they become a problem they come back.
