I don't usually write reviews but it was so awful I had to write it hoping the seller would decide to fix it for me . I've bought several Android tablets in the past. All were great. I had a bad feeling as there was no rating for it at all. 1) When I opened it the box wasn't shrink wrapped and there was a scratch on the box which made me think it was a returned item? 2) I was specifically looking for an 8 inch tablet with an octa core processor, 3 GB of RAM and 5 GHz WiFi, that was the only one and it works fine when it works. A lot of tablets are only 2.4GHz, which was great. 3) The tablet came with a fully discharged battery. All other devices I've previously purchased have been charged and some have been 100% charged assuming they have been recently tested. It was completely empty, as if it had been on a shelf for a long time. 4) It is quite thick and will get warm after some use. I had an 8 inch universal case but it didn't fit me. 5) The shockproof rubber case is good, but it collects dust like crazy 6) Here's the worst symptom: when it goes to sleep with the screen off because I pressed the power button once, or on a timer. Usually, pressing the power button again wakes it up. But that's not the case. It works when I wake up after a few seconds or maybe a minute. If I let him sleep any longer, I won't be able to wake up. I just have to reload. I've found that if I keep pressing it, it wakes up maybe on the 10th press, maybe on the 100th press. 7) I contacted Revain immediately but they said I had to contact the seller directly to get a repair or refund. Its head office is in Taiwan. They have a US office in California. Called her, no answer, several messages went unanswered. Sent them an email but did not decline such an address. I have filled out the online support request form. No Answer. I think they closed the California office and threw away the last 8 or 9 units of Revain for sale. Some of them may be buggy like mine. I hope there's a way out or I'm stuck. I saw there were 8 in stock now says 9, has anyone had any luck returning it? If I have an update to report, I'll post it. So it was good. I bought a Lenovo M8 FHD and am very happy with it so far.
