I like that they have an application for almost everything you would need in corrections - from payroll to booking inmates etc. It's not as user friendly as other programs but once it gets set up correctly (which can take some time) it works great. Take advantage of their free trial before purchasing because there are many features that will be wasted if you purchase without trying them first. We use OMIS to manage our offenders' records and bookings. As well as tracking hours worked we also track any overtime paid or unpaid by each employee. This allows us to pay employees accurately and fairly.
