Review on 🚫 Sony MDRRF925RK Wireless Headphones: Unavailable Model by Manufacturer by Elizabeth Carey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not perfect but I've seen worse

I recently bought 2 Sony MDRRF925BK wireless stereo headphones and the main reason I bought this item was that it was easy to connect to my stereo was. or an MP3 player, reasonably priced and wireless. When I received these headphones I had to do a 16 hour initial charge of the included battery that this item uses. You can also use AAA batteries if you prefer. I've been wanting to buy a different battery for these wireless earbuds, but will probably go with rechargeable AAA batteries if that battery ever runs out. Charging the included battery is easy: just place your headphones back on the stand that came with these headphones and the battery will charge automatically! Attaching these wireless headphones to your stereo, MP3 player or other device is fairly easy as long as you have a small headphone jack. But if not, you can buy an adapter at any local electronics store to convert a standard full-size headphone jack to a mini headphone jack. Anyhow, installation was easy and the headphones actually worked as promised. The sound quality is satisfactory, but I have to turn up the volume on the stereo system a bit higher than with standard wired stereo headphones, which doesn't bother me. However, if you are near the computer, you will occasionally hear "pops" or "clicks" as you approach the computer. The included instructions indicate that these headphones can be connected to a computer, so you have been warned. They're comfortable to wear for quite a while, and overall they're not too bad. They're more comfortable than my wired Sony stereo headphones that I usually use and hopefully these headphones will last quite a while. The range is pretty decent with these headphones. I think the manual says 150ft range with these wireless headphones and my house is over 50ft wide and they worked well considering they use 900mhz technology. and rather annoying "slap" or "click" sounds that you can hear when you are fairly close to the computer. I would say that for the price I paid for these headphones I got my money's worth. if they last long enough. In general they are not ideal. but I've had other wireless headphones that were more difficult to install and didn't work at all. So ever since I installed/connected these Sony wireless headphones to my compact stereo in my home office, they've been working really well. I give these headphones 4 out of 5 stars here.
