I have used other products from the company on a large project to restore a staircase and fill in some of the control joints. Epoxy is very thin (like water) and cures like stone. I patched a few thin cracks and learned something. Go ahead and prep any cracks you want to make as it will start to harden fairly quickly (even in the die) if you need to do anything between cracks. Make sure all areas are completely dry. Two of my cracks were wet; the mixture bubbled slightly on hardening. Where it was wet it actually set with a concrete-like texture, but some of the material was pushed out of the crack leaving a burr. One crack I actually scraped off excess material before it had set and the other I did with one Angle grinder removed after it had cured. In any case, it is better to wait until it dries completely. One cartridge filled small cracks over 20 feet. The description warns that epoxy is discolored, which it is not. Especially in direct sunlight. I plan on painting the area (so I've patched up some small cracks) so that's not a problem for me, but if you don't, and it's important to you, I'll probably use JF-311, which the company has sold here too. The Amazon, like mine, held in the concrete seams I used it in and stayed the same dark gray (but it's a bit thicker). Bottom line, it works well and I would recommend it, but the curing time is pretty quick so be prepared beforehand.
