Review on 💡 Satco S6596 FC552C Soft White Fluorescent Lamp by Tara Perry

We live in a rented house, we change the lightbulbs ourselves, so instead of replacing the ugly ceiling light I had to get a spare lightbulb. I found out that this light and all replacement parts including the ring light are no longer made. After searching the internet I found that this bulb was the closest thing to what was needed. I had a problem installing the lamp connector. While the pin size and placement is correct, the outside dimensions of the light's plug are artificially oversized (an attempt by the light manufacturer to ensure that only the bulb originally attached is purchased). But that lightbulb is gone - what madness! I installed this lightbulb in spring holders and was then able to connect the connector to the pins of this lightbulb. This new bulb is slightly brighter; The original lamp has 2700 lumens, this lamp has 3000 lumens. I'm glad our ugly ceiling light works in the bedroom. If you have one of those ugly ceiling lights - it looks like the bottom of a big bowl - do yourself a favor and find a regular ceiling light and forget about these "trendy" but ugly atrocities. I hope this bulb has a long life so I don't have to replace it again. The lightbulb itself is a great replacement
