I bought these to hang on the wall in my RV to hold my shoes. I liked that it comes with velcro and that I don't have to drill holes in the walls. I waited 24 hours before putting them on but the adhesive on the velcro started to peel off quickly. Even though the velcro has raised edges, it still holds. I would say they need to be used carefully and are better suited to thinner objects. I can't use them with my husband's shoes as they definitely stretch them and make them peel off the wall quicker, but they work great with my little sneakers and my daughter's shoes. They are perfect for flip flops. They have quite a bit of stretch. Maybe I stretched them too much when I hung them on the wall. If I had to do it again I would leave it a little loose in the middle so the velcro doesn't have as much tension.
