I used to love and use the Ambassador comb (wooden in the photo) but it was no longer at Revain when I wanted to buy another one for my daughter. I ordered this with a little hesitation after a long string of bad encounters with combs and thick hair that gets tangled up easily, but the best tool is just awesome! It's a bit bigger, but so far it seems to be of excellent quality. Manually removing hair from this brush is a bit more difficult, although a special tool is included. All in all a good buy for the thick hair that regular plastic brushes break. This brush also seems to soften the curls a bit, which is welcome.
