Our daughter is very sensitive to how her socks fit and how they feel on her feet. Traditional shoes made it difficult for her to adjust her socks to meet her comfort needs. With Billy shoes she can make everything perfect and then close them up and not have to worry about her socks slipping while she puts on her shoes. The only downside is that the shoes seem a little big and wide, but I think the purpose of this is that they cater to different adaptable needs. Overall my daughter loves these shoes.
