I like the idea of a phone cd holder. I don't like the vent mount (using a car heater can cause the phone to overheat while charging) and in Michigan using window mounts is illegal. I've used it in two cars, a Chrysler 300 and a Chevy Traverse, and both. Take the bracket comfortably. However, there is enough up/down play that it feels like it's about to fall out, but it doesn't. The RAXFLY CD holder rotates beautifully and there is no problem holding our Samsung S9 or Apple 10R. The main reason for rating 3 ⭐ is the sub-zero temperature. The block is harder to open and close and will jump over the teeth rendering the mount unusable. I was able to fix it without taking it apart, but that takes patients. If you are using it in cold weather, you should not try to close it at the same rate as you would at a higher temperature. When opening to take out the phone, it may not open wide enough to take out the phone and not worth trying to force open as it will snap with the gears. I love the mount and know I would have done more research on CD mounts by now than I have. However, it was a very cheap mount. I would buy another one for this price now that I know better how it behaves at different temperatures.
