I bought this for my upcoming trip to Alaska. I tested them last spring on a trip to northern Arizona where it was almost cold. Being from Florida anything under 60 is almost freezing lol! Seriously, I love these socks. At first I doubted they wouldn't fit. They look very small and I have very small feet and very large calves. But they fit like a glove. Wearing them all day my feet didn't get sweaty, overheated and certainly not cold. I wore them with a pair of running shoes and had no problems even in the snow. At the end of a very long day - 16 hours these babies - no smell either. This is the first time for me! I highly recommend them. I might even wear them in Florida this winter :)
