Used on my 15 year old couch in combination with formula 5 and skin milk balm. I used Formula 2 specifically on all heavily soiled areas such as armrests and seats. I used Formula 5 on the sides and back. Because the formula cleanses the skin of oils, I applied the leather balm all over the sofa after cleansing. The formula definitely got rid of most smudges and stains. It didn't work with a ballpoint pen. I had to use quite a bit of the product to clean the sofa. To stretch a little, I first wiped the sofa with clean water. Using this method, I used half a bottle for my five piece sofa. The sofa looks great. Cleaner than in recent years and no dirty armrests.
