I'm 5ft 3in, 135lbs and needed a big one. (I ordered a medium and had to return it.) This base layer is quite thick and I think it will only really work if you either don't move much or use it for skiing/snowboarding. Otherwise it will be too thick and compressed. The quality is good though and I might order another one (right size this time) for this year's ski season.
