I love it! We have two large, active dogs weighing 65 pounds. One is a Pit, the other a Doberman mix. It is great! After reading some of the reviews we decided not to use the seat belt part and just use a clip. It works great and seems really safe. My dogs stay fairly still/cold when they know they are buckled up. I really appreciate that they can't jump out of the car without unzipping it. Recommend them and the harness as a minimum precaution for anyone traveling with dogs. I do want to mention that we have them in the "shortest" position they can be. Our dogs have enough space to lie down on the back seat of the Kia Soul or stand on the floor. Their heads aren't long enough to fit between our front seats. If you have a small dog, they can pretty much go around the entire back seat and can be thrown hard in the event of an accident. So I'd still recommend them as better than nothing, but if you want to be safer with a seat belt; then you probably want a shorter strap. I pray we never have a rollover accident but it makes me feel safer and my dogs can enjoy the ride! hatchback. They are definitely comfortable!
