I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I didn't expect that my budget would allow me to have a quality car stereo with a feature set that would allow me to connect my Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S20 and access Google Maps and other apps from my phone directly through the stereo screen use. The phone service is great! I had a relative install it for me and he said that all the wiring was easy and that it was a standard size meaning he could use a pre-made fitting kit for my car. He was also impressed with the steering wheel controls. I don't know what he means, but all my controls work! The unit comes with a remote control, which is convenient for me to take with me and allows my passengers to tune the radio without unbuckling their seat belts to reach the remote control. Radio. Be careful, it's small and easily slips into small gaps around the seat. After installing it, he let me install it while he watched. Going into the settings and finding the many options was neat and a little fiddly, but I quickly found the time and date, the fader controls, and then the EQ. I've never had an equalizer and it gives me great sound control when using my original speakers. I just set it up. Bluetooth connected it quickly and I was able to play music and make calls with ease. Then a phone link appeared, select it on the home screen and you'll get a QR code to download an app that can show your phone's screen on the radio. Screen.
