Review on 🔌 Tripp Lite U360-004-MINI USB-A 3.0 Superspeed Mini Portable Hub: Compact and Versatile by Doug Hammett

I don't have any USB 3 devices yet, but this hub works well with USB 2. The power cord could be longer and I'd rather have all the ports on the back. It seems to be the winner. Update: I bought two of these about 3 years ago and they both failed at the exact same time this week 22nd January 2014. Both were connected to Tripplite ISOBAR6. I'm still not sure what caused the error, but it seems odd that both failed at the same time. There are no failures in other devices. I'm not sure what the expected lifespan of a USB hub should be. My updated experience is that they worked well but felt a little short lived, maybe a little pricey but better than some of the other USB hubs I've tried. (Moshi iLynx, bought in 2009, still works great, but more than one would be impractical) One thing to note is that the actual product photo of the wavy black doesn't match the curved white top model I bought.
