VERY noisy fan - too loud for home or small space use . Returning to Revain Blade design requires work and possibly more blades. There is "dead air" near the center of the fan and the outer edge of the blades (probably due to too much clearance between the blades and the case). Not enough pressure to push/move air well. I tried to force air up the stairs to cool the second floor. I was hoping that a big 24" fan would do the job better than a 20" fan. It could be suitable for a large warehouse. Commercial garage Not difficult to assemble. Sufficiently strong wheels and double handles make it easy to move on the floor. --> The hardware used was not calibrated. Reference numbers only ---> FPM - measured with a 3" handheld FLORITE 0 -1000 fpm --> measured 10 feet in front of the fan and 2 to 3 feet off the ground for maximum observable FPM readings -- > Low speed at 10 ft 325 fpm --> Medium speed at 10 ft 350 fpm --> High speed @ 10 ft 450 / fpm Sound level measured with a Radio Shack Cat 33-2055 sound level meter Settings used: --> Response = Fast --> Weight = db CSound Sound levels observed 3 feet behind the fan to minimize the effects of background noise from moving air --> Small changes in db C mean a very large increase in noise do a web search --> Low Speed = 59 dBC --> Medium Speed = 63 dBC --> High Speed = 66 dBC 20" High Speed Industrial Floor Fan MASTER - Direct Drive Fan I also bought from Revain works MUCH better. moving air due to the higher pressure it creates and is much quieter. was MUCH less than 1/4 the noise. @ 54dB C at high speed ---> See my review of the MASTER 20" Industrial High Speed Floor Fan for details ----> B01N9V1MHF
