Review on 🎶 PHOPOLLO 50ft Bluetooth LED Strip Lights - Color Changing RGB Lighting, App Controlled, Sync to Music by Chris Reeves

Numerous comments and answers in the FAQ say it works with Alexa. However, this is not the case. If you want to see it for yourself, download the Apollo Lighting app and see if you can find it somewhere to set up Alexa. You won't find it. Additionally, you will find that location access is required to run the required Apollo Lighting application. If you deny access, the application will close immediately and will not run until you allow it. Why does the bluetooth light control app need location access? I can't think of any. Phopollo makes Wi-Fi LED strips that are controlled by Wi-Fi and work with Alexa and are really good strips. I made the mistake of believing the comments that this strip would also work with Alexa, although Fopollo doesn't advertise it. The 2 star rating is due to the app's location requirement, not the lack of an Alexa feature, which Phopollo doesn't claim I'm just trying to teach people not to make the same mistake. Unfortunately I installed the lights before I found out and can't get them back. I'll probably pay double for the Wi-Fi version to replace the controller.
