Review on 📏 Allprettyall Digital Caliper Micrometer: Accurate and Precise Measuring Tool by Mohmed Burt

Bought this tool for use in woodworking where accuracy is not of the utmost importance. up to 2 thousandths apart. Build quality isn't as good as the more expensive Mitutoyo, but that's to be expected. There are a few things to note that could pose a problem. 1) The enclosed instructions do not apply to the model supplied. Therefore the instructions on how to change the battery are not accurate and if you follow these instructions you can scratch the caliper. The battery is replaced by loosening the bottom top screw on the battery compartment and then twisting the lid. 2) The LCD display is not subject to any contractual control. For me, the readability is not very good. I think I prefer the regular dial. It's quite difficult to read except in better light conditions. 3) All surfaces are very sharp. The metal edges were not very sharp. I had to smooth out the sharp edges 4) The case is very very soft aluminium, the case that houses the LCD gets scratched very easily 5) The device turns on when the bracket is moved. I think it could be good. 6) I received 1 replacement battery, not 2 as shown in the picture. But on the good and positive side of the device: 1) Accuracy and repeatability are good. 2) Blade Light Test shows that both are very well made. I couldn't see much light coming through unevenly (very close to Mitutoyo). 3) It indicates a fraction, which is definitely a plus. So all in all a normal device for the money. But you get what you paid for. For my need to use this as a woodworking tool it's more than accurate enough.
