All of the lachrymatory fluid in the onion is included without the device, leaving me with a well-chopped onion. I would recommend this chopper to anyone who hates cutting food into uniform pieces. It is great for preparing ingredients for cooking like onions and garlic. You can make anything from homemade salsa to chimichurri. The device is easy to assemble and disassemble. Cleaning is also easy; Just be careful when cleaning the blade. The traction chopper is fairly durable, and the most delicate component, the cord, has a long lifespan as it is not exposed to water when cleaning the device. Because the underside of the lid is the only part of the lid that comes into contact with the ingredients and gets dirty. It doesn't take too much tugging to finely chop the ingredients; even tough like fresh carrots. However, you can adjust the grind of the ingredients by decreasing and increasing the number of clicks. When it's time to put the device away, all the components come together in a tiny knot that easily slides into any empty space in your kitchen cabinet.
