Probably a decent set for a beginner, which I definitely am. Not sure if I got a fake or not but everything looked fine and the sponge looked like my other real tech sponge which I had a hard time using. The brushes are softer than I expected and not as good as the higher quality brushes but worked well. for my purposes. I found it difficult to brush as after washing with makeup remover the white bristles were mixed with my concealer after the first application. These are the first brushes I have as I prefer to use a sponge and my fingers so this can be routine.
