Review on OXO BREW Conical Burr Coffee Grinder: Precision Grinding with Built-in Scale by Kimberly Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

i love this shop for the kitchen and dining room

Well, I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to tools. But when it comes to coffee, I've always been a minimalist and loved my vintage and never-failing late-modern small Braun pressure-lock grinder (actually a grinder with rotating blades). was and how little cosmic claim there was. But I lost that grinder and bought a new one from another company which was high design and a lot of mess and needed to be cleaned every time or the grind would go everywhere. And when he died after the first pots, I decided to spend some money and find a better solution. Enter the Oxo, which was several times more expensive, twice the height and almost the size of my coffee maker. But it promised precise grind settings for drops, abs, and espresso, as well as newfangled built-in scales that I thought were cool but frivolous. I had no idea what a joy it would be. Libra means I tell him I want 4 cups and he just gets it spot on. Or 5, or 1, or 6. Just turn the little lighted knob with a glowing number and press start. I adjusted the amount per cup the day I received it and that was it. It's a subtle but big difference. That. . Here I pour a pound of beans and after about a week or two I add more bunches. But it gets better. This grinder meticulously places the perfect grinds in an open-topped container with no counters to mess up the wayward grinds. This mug simply sits on the scales, there are no snap lids or careful insertion of containers, no extra parts to put in place, or clasps to look out for. You simply take the grinding cup, turn it upside down and gently shake it into the drip filter. Did. There are no loopholes anywhere. The whole time I watched the water fill the carafe. The only thing you have to remember is to turn the knob to get the number of cups. Look this is not a life changing world changing item but it has been 6 months now and every time I use it I smile at how flawless this item is. And I smile at how comfortable I feel today with this big thing on my counter when it used to be a small and almost invisible coffee grinder.
