Melissa and Doug, I hope you read all of your reviews as I wish you did. Your Water Wow coloring pages were the BEST educational and fun toy I've bought for my 2 year old wonder girl. I've spent countless hours making themed sensory buckets. I've spent days laminating the pages of several jam-packed books, cutting out tiny pieces and attaching Velcro, but nothing has interested her more than coloring these pages with a waterpen. I watched her fine motor skills begin to develop before my eyes. Your writing skills are improving rapidly. I've seen her go from doodles in a coloring book to understanding that each shape is filled with different colors, using lines as a guide. I think we are reading our seventh book now and every time I buy her a new one the surprise and wonder starts all over again as she greedily fills in the pages discovering colors and hidden surprises. She will "color" the same pages over and over again and come back to this toy again and again. So many times I've been busy and suddenly realized that things seem too quiet (every parent's nightmare) only to find her hiding in a small corner, water pen in hand, working on her book. 🙂 She just loves them! We have an upcoming trip which I was a bit nervous about as it is a 6 hour drive and she has never been in the car for more than an hour. I decided to make 6 little bags (one for each hour) with fun little toys and new activities for them. I already know the 3 water books will be her favorites so thanks for the reassurance. All in all, I just want to say a big thank you for making great toys for kids that are fun, engaging, but most importantly, educational. I also appreciate that most of your brand's toys seem affordable and accessible to families like mine who have to be very careful with their spending and budget. Thanks Melissa and Doug! I hope you know that your work is appreciated and appreciated by many! I hope you continue this call for generations to come.
