We are in the process of renovating our kitchen and went to a restaurant store and bought 2 stainless steel prep tables to create more work space. I love them but our outlets were behind both. making them difficult to access. This surge protector is perfect for my needs. I put one with my baking table for my blenders and one with my cooking table for my fryer, instant pots, etc. I also love that there are USB ports if I'm following a recipe off my phone or tablet when the battery is low not empty before I'm even done in the kitchen. These are great surge protectors and they have a nice long cord that makes it very easy to get power to where you need it. I really like them and I recommend them. it helps you
