You can't burn your arm, but it's too big to handle.
I gave this device three stars because it does what it is advertised to do. You won't burn your hand with this glove. However, it is very thick and I find it difficult to work with my thin hair. I ended up having to take the glove off to work on the hair and then put it back on to curl my hair. That's about as good as the stupid thumb-two-finger mitt that came with the curling iron. Not that good, but not that bad either.
