Our kitchen sink drained water more and more slowly until it finally stopped. I had no idea how inconvenient (NOT a strong enough word) to be without a kitchen sink. But we didn't call the plumber - my husband and I are almost 70 and covid19 is even more uncomfortable. So I washed pots and pans in the tub and we poured tons of different drain cleaners down the kitchen sink. For weeks! Nada. Finally, I frantically searched the internet for a plumber's snake. I read a million reviews and chose this one. (Was hoping the people who wrote the bad reviews about getting stuck in a pipe and having to call a plumber got it wrong?) And it worked! It took my eldest son about 15 or 20 minutes to clear the drain! Wow all the hassle and hassle I could have avoided! My son says his shoulders were a little tired but it was a long way to the clog and he moved very slowly and carefully (to avoid getting stuck in the pipes). In general, the whole process was surprisingly painless. I definitely recommend buying this tool - it doesn't cost much more than renting a motorized tool for a day! I intend never to be without this amazing and wonderful tool ever again!
