Do not use this as a stool!
I like the look of this footstool but do not try to use it as a footstool as it will tip over if you don't step on it directly. I used it to get on the bed because he is very tall and I am very short. I fell twice in the first few days, although I thought I was being very careful. This is great if you're just using it as a footstool on a chair or sofa. I had to buy another stool that is more durable.
