It is great. They are easy to put on a toddler's hands and the elastic has enough room for me to slide my finger through to fit my pinky into the thumb of the mittens. They are best worn in front of a coat when playing in the snow (they hold up better when the wrists are in the sleeves of the coat). They actually keep hands pretty dry because they have two layers. Machine wash and dry. We lost one on day one but they come in packs of 2 so it didn't really matter. Highly recommended.
