At first I was very happy with this purchase. I printed a newsletter and couldn't tell the difference between pages printed with these cartridges and pages printed with OEM cartridges. I print for a non-profit organization so our budget is tight and I thought the price and quality made these toner cartridges a real bargain. However, when I print flyers with a solid black background a few weeks later, I get gray streaks on the background. First it was black, then there was one stripe, and now there are two. The stripes are getting lighter and brighter, which only aggravates the situation. So I changed the background to gray because I figured a less saturated color would help. The stripes have become lighter but still distinguishable. Changed to a red background and no stripes. That tells me there is a problem with the black cartridge. Unfortunately, the period in which I can return the cartridge has expired, but it definitely didn't last as long as I expected. Edition from 02.01.17. A company representative contacted me about my 1 star rating. I explained what had happened and he offered me a replacement cartridge if I re-evaluate the product. I accept. I expected to only receive a black cartridge but he sent all 4 colors. I printed 500 pages of the newsletter without incident. The company definitely deserves 5 stars for customer service. And I'm willing to ignore the occasional bad cartridge. At this point I've raised my rating to 3 stars in anticipation of what will happen over time as last time it took several weeks to run into issues. If there are no further problems, I will change my rating again.
