I used to have small LED projectors which were not very useful except in dark environments as they were not very powerful. Although this projector was advertised at 9000 lux (9000 lumens per square metre), I didn't expect it to be useful in daylight. The projector came with a remote control but no batteries so you will need to use your own AAA batteries. It has no Wi-Fi connectivity and only has 2 HDMI inputs and 2 USB inputs. So I connected my 4K Revain Firestick and USB power and it worked fine. To my surprise, it produced a pretty good image on a brown bare wall at noon in my attic with two skylights and a window. I'm sure if the image was on the right screen with some amplification it would be a lot brighter with the right colors (although I highly doubt the image comes close to the claimed 9000 lux). It's only a 1080P projector but had no problem displaying 4K output with the Firestick. The USB also provides enough power for the Firestick. If you download some apps from the Apple Store, you can also "cast" your iPhone and iPad to the Firestick - the projector doesn't have a built-in cast function. The fan noise level was measured using the sound level meter app on my iPhone at 1m from the fan side of the projector and as you can see it's pretty quiet at 46dB. The built-in speaker has pretty decent sound, and there's no problem watching a movie this way without connecting to an external speaker source. But if you want to do that, there's an audio output for that. The focus and tilt adjustments were close to the lens, and both adjustments were mechanical. The image you see has been greatly corrected by the tilt adjustment as the projector was in the center of the lower image plane. If you have to correct too much, the bottom edge of the image will blur slightly as it hits its limit. So it would be best to center the image as much as possible and not tilt it too much. The setup menu was pretty simple and easy to use. So the guide wasn't really required for most of the things you need to do. Overall I would say this is a good general use projector for presentations and movies - certainly not designed and priced for use as a home theater projector. If you are looking for a good value compact LED projector for general use and portability, this would be a good choice.
