I added this after I bought a pop & lock grip for my 2007 Toyota Tacoma because after the Installing the handle I found I was going to bed to get there quickly and I had to park the truck every time. With this set I just open the doors and the bed is open, I leave without thinking about whether I have locked the bed or not. Both products are easy to install and integrate perfectly. Note the strut, which I think is a design change from the single-bolt version, and it makes perfect sense. This is a company that listens to the consumer and makes changes where necessary. Highly recommend and if you're a DIY enthusiast it's fun and I'll rate it on a scale of easy 1 to 10 and hard 3. The hardest part is running the cable under the truck and strapping it to the frame.
